My four-year B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture provided a deep and comprehensive education in the science of sustainable production and environmental management. Experiential Learning Program (ELP) Modules
During this program, I focused on Organic Farming and Horticulture Crops. My work involved conducting field experiments on organic crop production, composting, and pest management. I gained expertise in the cultivation, propagation, and marketing of crops, as well as in polyhouse cultivation.
Sericulture Training
I had completed training with the government's Sericulture Department in Haldwani. In this role, you worked with advanced silk-rearing machines and learned to control temperature and humidity to ensure optimal silk production.
Agriculture Research & Training
At the Government Agriculture Science Center in Jeolikote, I completed training in modern agriculture techniques and management. This work also involved interacting directly with farmers during field visits to understand their agricultural practices and needs.
